But your contention that potential Z buyers were swallowed up by an urge to buy SUVs IMO is pure conjecture due to the dissimilarity in the form and function of the two vehicle types. I'm betting that the prohibitive price tag of the later Z32s scattered buyers to a myriad of other options,not solely to SUVs.
